Boyd International has come a long way since it was established by company chairman, David Boyd following 3 years working for the UK's largest meat and poultry processing group.

The team has augmented David's strengths, forging a business that is now a key player in the food sector internationally.

Some Key Contacts

David Boyd - Chairman and Managing Director

David heads up the food trading division and also deals with all equipment purchases. He travels the world building relationships with customers and suppliers and ensuring corporate strategy is focused on sustainable growth and profitable partnerships.

Chris Barwick - Engineering

Chris is one of our highly skilled engineers. He handles spare parts procurement and is the main contact for our machinery sales team and our purchase ledger staff.

Alan Hopes – Financial Controller

Alan joined us from an oil services business but previously spent 14 years as Finance Director of a leading food processing company. A registered Chartered Accountant, Alan works closely with David Boyd on company strategy and compliance.

John Watson – Projects Engineer

John is responsible for delivering on-site machinery projects for us throughout the world. Primarily involved in decommissioning and removal of equipment from factories but also in our workshop in the UK. John was Engineering Manager of a number of Vion poultry sites before joining us in 2008.

George Petrie - Senior Engineer

George has vast engineering experience and has been with us for 10 years. He is responsible for quality control in the department.
